Riding on the water
We took the ferry to Desenzano because I wanted to shop at Vestopazzo! We ate lunch there then took the ferry back.

Taking the water
Shopping trip successful, we decided to go to the hot springs spa. Tom had to buy flip flops for 18 euro. But get this — you are issued a towel, a robe, a swim cap and this RFID watch that operated the locker where you stowed your stuff, and let you add things to your tab. Inside felt like a weird utopia where everyone was dressed alike and had blue skin heads. There were many pools, with sections. For example, you could sit in a jacuzzi jet pool, then swim out to an area where you have water falling on your shoulders and head. My favorite was this part that looked like a lazy river but you walked it, the first part was hot water, then you step up & then enter freezing water. You do this for as many times around as you like. It was strangely awesome. Then we went to the relax rooms which were themed (salt, stars, etc), then became rooms containing musical compositions inspired by water, for example there was a lava room. No pictures during but here’s a picture after.

Walking along the water
Then we enjoyed snacks on the terrace and a rather heavy bit of rain came through. Dinner at a restaurant we went to by mistake / miscommunication. Decided just to go with it. Ended up with a small brain on my pasta. Lots of bread, cheese, gelato eating. Tomorrow we will have some veggies.
