We have arrived to this tiny peninsula by car. It was stressful as the road was overflowing with pedestrians. We managed only 1 scraped panel in a tight right hand turn. The car already has pre-existing damage there and we have full coverage. So it should not be a problem, but we decided not to drive during our stay.
Tonight, we have reserved a boat tour. Will post on that later. So far we had the excitement of driving in, we walked to the end of the peninsula and looked at the beach there (this is on Lake Garda). Then we found a place to have a late lunch, and continued down to the castle.

We are staying on the peninsula in a place called Villa Paradiso |

This gate opened automatically because our host registered our car. If you look at the archway ahead, we had to drive through it! |
|
It was a tight turn at one point, and the side of the car got scraped up. We walked back to the scene. |
